I am a certified NLP Coach and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). NLP is Neuro-Linguistic Programming. It is the study of human excellence. Neuro refers to the nervous system where the sensory pathways of seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, and smelling are found. Linguistic refers to the non-verbal language of postures, gestures, and habits that reveal our ways of thinking and beliefs. Programming is a computer science terminology which is adapted to refer to the habitual programs that can be changed by upgrading the "mental software."

I immigrated to the United States from the Philippines in September 1987. I had a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of San Carlos in the City of Cebu. In 1999, I obtained my Masters degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco, California, USA.

I raised three daughters in a setting of two cultures while holding a full-time job, and getting higher education. I lived through the deaths of my parents, went through divorce, and survived breast cancer.

Through all the challenges I managed to bring myself together to move on. The journey was a constant process of learning, making choices, and adapting to changes. Initially, I felt powerless and a victim to circumstances until I decided to muster enough courage to own up to all the choices that I had made. I woke up from sleep and since then I have been living consciously.

Having found clarity and peace of mind, I found my niche in life. On December 31, 2004, I retired from the University of California San Francisco to be a Life Coach. Life coaching is an interactive process that helps individuals achieve their desired goals, and fully utilize their natural strengths. I was trained to listen and observe. I believe that the client is naturally creative and resourceful. My job is to provide support, feedback, and an objective perspective. Life is a dance! It is my passion to take my client through the dance steps.
